Be on the How to Write a Book Podcast

INVITED TO THE SHOW?

Guidelines for Show Participation:

Thank you for considering to be part of the How to Write a Book Podcast. We’re excited to collaborate on a potential episode with you.

Please review these guidelines to determine if you are a suitable fit for the show. No worries if it doesn’t align with your preferences; I understand.

If you agree with the following criteria, feel free to book a time slot.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel twice, the slot will be automatically canceled.

Recording Format: The show is recorded for both audio and video, intended for podcasts and YouTube. If you are not comfortable with the YouTube platform, kindly inform us.

Confirmation: Booking through the Calendly link confirms your participation. If the show is canceled, you will receive a cancellation email along with a personal note from me. Lack of a “confirmation” email does not impact the validity of the link. Failure to show up without a “cancellation” is considered a no-show.

Payment Inquiry: Beginning April 1, 2024, show appearances will be $50.00 USD for one episode (approximately 30-45 minutes), paid through online platforms such as Paypal or Honeybook after we record.

Recording Link: The Calendly link automatically generates a Google recording link for our meeting place.

Show Content: The conversation revolves around motivation and inspiration for writers. We are interested in learning about your achievements in a relaxed and conversational atmosphere.

Preshow Check: There are no pre-interviews to qualify guests. I conduct research before reaching out to potential guests. If an episode is deemed unsuitable, I reserve the right to cancel it without notice.

Premeeting: No pre-meeting is scheduled. The show is allocated 45 minutes, with episodes targeted at 30 minutes, leaving time for questions at the beginning and end.

Vibe Check: When the room is opened, I’ll ask questions to understand your vibe and verify the impression from your profile. If there’s a mismatch, a second chance may be given during the interview. If it doesn’t work out, refer to the cancellation policy and pre-show check.

Holiday Note: Please be aware that I am out of the office for four weeks during the holidays. If you do not see open time slots, kindly check back later, as the calendar opens 45 days at a time.

Enjoyment and Sharing: Above all, I want you to have fun and share your work. There will be space at the end of the show for you to share your resources.
